Board
of Directors Biographies
Judy Wenzel, President.
I have lived here on the Mesa full-time with my husband, Richard, moving from Albuquerque, over 10 years ago. I have been the President of the Wild Horse
Mesa Co-Op for over three years and look forward to guiding this organization forward for another term. I have owned my own children's clothing store for eight years.
I love nature, and enjoy feeding and watching the hummingbirds, wild horses,
and deer, roaming freely.
Donna Trombley, Vice President.
Donna and Ron Trombley have maintained property on the Mesa for eleven years.
They are currently full time residents. Donna works part time as a Healthcare
Regulatory Compliance Consultant. She enjoys baking gourmet pies, loves
geology, spending time with family and friends, and living out their dream on
the Mesa.
James L. Hergenrader, Recording
Secretary
After spending 40+ years in the insurance business, as a marketing officer,
James and Barb retired to Wild Horse Mesa for the summer months and Daytona Beach,
Florida for the winter. They spend about six months at each location.
James is currently serving as Treasurer of their condo owners' association in Florida, and
is looking forward to serving on the board of the Wild Horse Mesa Co-Op.
Toni Cordes, Corresponding Secretary
Here we are, on the Mesa fulfilling our retirement dreams. Dreams can be challenging.
There is so much to learn about Mesa living, but with the help and advice from our new friends here, it is making our transition easier.
We came from Loveland, Colorado, bringing along our three best friends, Opie, Ashley, and Cooper.
They especially enjoy chasing the chipmunks, that are very abundant this year.
Along with the views, our new Mesa friends are the best.
Sherry Fischer, Treasurer.
Sherry and Norman Fischer
bought their property on Melby Ranch in the year 2000. In
2007, they became permanent residents, moving from Denver. While
in Denver, Sherry was the director of Central Computing and Computing Security
for the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center.
For the past two years, Sherry served as the director of the Costilla
County Public Library System, retiring in June to do medical transcription
from home. (What a savings on gas!)
Sherry is looking forward to her position as Treasurer of the Wild Horse Mesa Co-op and meeting other Mesa
landowners.
